Job Description
Job Summary:
We are hiring skilled and semi-skilled construction workers including All-Rounder Masons, Steel Fixers, Shuttering Carpenters, and Construction Helpers for various infrastructure and building projects. These professionals will be responsible for executing core civil construction tasks such as brickwork, concrete laying, bar bending, formwork, and general labor support on-site.
This role is physically demanding and requires a high level of dedication, teamwork, and adherence to site safety protocols. The ideal candidates should have prior experience in similar roles and be able to work under the guidance of site engineers and supervisors.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. All-Rounder Mason:
-
Lay bricks, blocks, and stones in mortar or concrete to build walls, foundations, partitions, and other structures.

Perform plastering, tiling, and surface finishing works.
-
Ensure proper alignment and leveling using tools such as plumb bobs, spirit levels, and measuring tapes.

Mix cement, sand, and other materials in proper ratios as per the requirement.

Repair damaged structures and carry out general masonry maintenance.
2. Steel Fixer / Bar Bender:
-
Read construction drawings and place steel bars and reinforcements accordingly.

Cut, bend, and tie reinforcement steel using appropriate tools.

Secure steel bars into position before concrete pouring.
-
Ensure proper spacing, overlaps, and tying of rebars as per design specifications.

Maintain inventory of steel rods and report shortages to supervisors.
3. Shuttering Carpenter / Formwork Carpenter:
-
Build and fix shuttering/formwork to hold wet concrete in place until it sets.

Use plywood, timber, and steel props to create molds as per design.

Dismantle formwork after curing of concrete without damaging the structure.

Measure and cut form materials accurately with saws and carpentry tools.

Maintain and store carpentry tools and formwork systems properly.
4. Construction Helper / Laborer:
-
Assist masons, carpenters, steel fixers, and other skilled workers on site.
-
Load and unload construction materials like cement, sand, bricks, steel, etc.

Carry and mix concrete, mortar, and assist in pouring operations.
-
Maintain cleanliness of the worksite and remove debris regularly.

Follow instructions and provide manual support wherever required.
