Job Description

Job Role = Scanning bagging shorting picking packing inventory loading unloading etc. It's rational shift job, there are three shifts morning Day night. Timing= 8 to 5 morning 10 to 7 day 8 to 5 night, 8 hrs duty 1 hrs tiffin.

Key Responsibilities:

Scanning and Sorting:
- Scan barcodes or QR codes on products to track inventory and ensure the correct items are selected.
- Sort products according to categories, destinations, or other criteria, ensuring accuracy and minimizing errors.
- Organize products in the warehouse to optimize space and improve picking efficiency.
Picking and Packing:
- Retrieve products from shelves according to orders (picking) while ensuring they are in the proper condition.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transportation and ensure items are correctly labeled and addressed.
- Verify product quantities and order accuracy before shipment.
Bagging and Labeling:
- Bag products as necessary, ensuring the correct packaging type and size are used to keep the products safe.
- Label bags or packages with correct shipping, handling, and inventory information.
- Ensure labeling is accurate and clear to reduce confusion during delivery or stock handling.
Inventory Management:
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory by conducting regular stock counts.
- Monitor inventory levels, report discrepancies, and assist with stock replenishment.
- Ensure products are stored correctly and safely, following company guidelines for shelving, stacking, and rotation (FIFO – First In, First Out).
Loading and Unloading:
- Load products into delivery trucks, ensuring that they are arranged securely to avoid damage.
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks and inspect them for damage, ensuring products are correctly logged and stored.
- Assist in organizing goods once they’ve been unloaded and label accordingly.
General Warehouse Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area, including aisles, shelves, and storage locations.
- Operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment (depending on training and certification).
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
Team Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Communicate any issues or concerns regarding products, inventory, or safety to the warehouse manager.
- Participate in team meetings and training to improve performance and adhere to company policies.
Order Processing and Documentation:
- Assist in processing customer orders by pulling the right items from inventory and packaging them accordingly.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork, including shipping labels, packing slips, and invoices, are properly filled out and included with orders.
- Maintain accurate logs of inventory movement, deliveries, and order statuses.
