Job Description
Job Summary:
The Web & WordPress Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites and web applications using WordPress and other relevant technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of web development principles, WordPress core functionality, and custom theme/plugin development. The ideal candidate will ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, secure, and optimized for performance. The developer will collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions that meet client and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Website Design and Development:

Develop and implement responsive websites and web applications using WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other relevant technologies.

Customize WordPress themes and templates according to project requirements.

Create and modify plugins to extend WordPress functionality as needed.

Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize websites for speed and performance.

Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other services into websites.

Maintenance and Support:

Monitor and maintain existing WordPress websites, including updates, backups, and security patches.

Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, or errors efficiently.

Optimize websites for SEO, performance, and accessibility standards.

Ensure website uptime, reliability, and smooth functionality.

Technical Collaboration:

Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate designs into fully functional websites.

Theme and Plugin Development:

Modify existing themes/plugins to meet specific project needs while maintaining code quality.
