MX Player offers offline video viewing capabilities and will soon begin to let users stream exclusive content as an OTT platform. MX Player has always been an - Everytaiment App- and to engage the users more, we introduced Games into our App Ecosystem. The ultimate goal is to be a platform where developers can submit their Games and from day 1, they would have a user base which would take years to achieve.

About The Role

We build our own Games which we feel are the most engaging to our users. We also keep varying the game parameters, bring in new features, tournaments to keep the users excited everyday.
On the technical front all the Games are developed as H5 Games and opened up inside a webview within the app and given a Native Experience.

Key Responsibilities And Accountability

Deep dive onto different H5 Game Frameworks used in the industry like Phaser JS, PixieJS etc
Think on various Game perspectives and come up with optimized solutions.

Skills & Competencies

Have a good understanding of how the Web Works and the different kinds of optimizations that can be done.
Worked on game based platforms like Unity etc extensively for creating games.
Knowledge of Game Optimization and Game Parameterization for difficulty adjustments.
Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
Problem solving Skills
