Job Description

A Django developer is a web developer specializing in building the back-end of web applications using the Django framework, a Python-based high-level framework. They are responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, building APIs, handling database interactions, and ensuring the application's security and scalability. Key 

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain web applications: Using Django and Python, they create and update web applications. 
  • Build APIs: They design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between the application and other systems. 
  • Manage databases: They work with databases (like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite) to store and retrieve data. 
  • Ensure security and scalability: They implement security measures and design applications to handle growing user bases. 
  • Collaborate with other teams: They work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. 

Technical Skills Required:

  • Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap

  • Backend (Preferred): PHP, Node.js, Python, or any similar server-side language

  • Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, or equivalent

  • Frameworks/CMS: React.js, Angular, Vue.js, WordPress, Laravel, Django (based on stack)

  • Version Control: Git, GitHub or GitLab

  • Other Tools: VS Code, Postman, Chrome DevTools, Figma (for frontend collaboration)
