Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Website and Application Development

Design, code, and implement responsive web pages and dynamic applications based on project requirements.

Develop reusable and efficient front-end components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern libraries/frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).

Build robust back-end services and APIs using server-side languages such as PHP, Python, Node.js, or Ruby.

Integrate web applications with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and third-party services or APIs.
2. Maintenance and Optimization

Monitor and maintain existing websites and web applications, ensuring compatibility across devices and browsers.

Identify bugs, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely fixes or enhancements.

Optimize websites for speed, performance, and search engine visibility (SEO).

Ensure adherence to web accessibility standards and best practices.
3. CMS and E-Commerce Integration
-
Work with content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or Shopify to manage site content and structure.

Customize themes and plugins or develop new ones to meet client or project requirements.

Implement and support e-commerce platforms, including WooCommerce, Magento, or custom shopping solutions.
4. Collaboration and Project Support

Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes, mockups, and user flows into functional web interfaces.

Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and team meetings in Agile/Scrum environments.

Coordinate with QA testers to validate features, functionality, and compatibility across devices.

Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding project timelines, technical challenges, and updates.
5. Security and Compliance

Ensure the application adheres to security best practices, including data sanitization, user authentication, and secure coding techniques.

Stay up to date on cybersecurity threats and ensure web solutions are compliant with relevant standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
