Position: Web Developer

E-commerce Focus

MHC Groups is seeking a proficient and experienced Web Developer to join our dynamic team. We are dedicated to providing an exceptional online experience through our website and e-commerce platform. As a pivotal member, you will contribute to shaping and maintaining our digital presence, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly interface for our customers.

Role and Responsibilities:

Website and E-commerce Development: Lead the development and upkeep of our website and e-commerce platform. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into visually appealing and intuitive interfaces. Implement responsive design strategies for consistent user experiences across diverse devices.
Front-end Development: Write well-documented, clean, and efficient HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code. Employ modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) to enhance user interactivity and experience. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize website performance.
Back-end Development: Develop server-side logic using suitable programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby). Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways to support e-commerce functionality. Establish and manage databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) for efficient data storage and retrieval.
E-commerce Functionality: Implement and refine online shopping cart functionality. Integrate secure payment processing systems for a smooth transactional experience. Develop and maintain inventory management and order fulfillment processes.
Testing, Debugging, Security, and Compliance: Conduct comprehensive testing to identify and resolve issues promptly. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high-quality solutions. Implement security best practices to safeguard user data and prevent vulnerabilities. Stay abreast of industry trends and compliance standards related to e-commerce platforms.
Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, product management) to align web development with business objectives. Regularly participate in team meetings and provide project updates. Maintain technical documentation for code, processes, and integrations. Assist in creating user guides and documentation for website features.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Web Developer, with a focus on e-commerce solutions.

Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies, frameworks, and version control systems. Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile optimization.

Knowledge of web development security best practices.

Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Good communication in American English is a must.
