Job Description
- Builds, designs, and maintains all websites and software applications.
- Regulates exposure to business stakeholders and executive management as well as other authorities.
- Designs, writes, and edits website content.
- Should have knowledge of secure coding.
- Understands UI, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards.
- Design engaging and effective category and marketing landing pages based on creative direction from Management.
- Establish a scalable and reusable template(s) for our clients’ category and marketing landing pages.
- Utilize insights from research and analytics to form new design solutions.
- Develop web by writing well-designed and efficient codes to maintain, expand and scale ecommerce websites.
- Create, manage and maintain websites and user interfaces.
- Incorporate feedback with precision to ensure delivered files are matched closely to specification.
- See through a project from conception to finished product.
- Responsible for design of appearance and performance of pages on E-commerce websites, including UX and UI, functionalities and housekeeping maintenance.
- Update websites with the most current information.
- Ensure consistent performance on all major devices/browsers, including fast load times and bug-free core functionality with a focus on mobile optimization and performance.
- Construct design solutions with the e-commerce team with a focus on improving website usability.
- Ensure performance consistency across key devices and browsers.
- Integrate data from various back-end services, databases and digital analytics.
- Gather and refine website requirements and specifications based on technical needs and industry practices.
- Consistently report work’s progress and issues, and propose initiatives and solutions to improve digital analytics and marketing.
- Maintenance of HTML/CSS/JavaScript for existing web sites.
- Troubleshoot coding issues and bugs.
- Other duties as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the trainee.
