About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Utilizing a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies
2. Working with the rest of the team to develop features for internal and external use
3. Operating with a large degree of autonomy on work that spans the deepest level of the stack to the very top
4. Mentoring other engineers and reviewing code
5. Improving the overall quality of the codebase, internal tools, and processes
6. Taking part in decision making around prioritization of product features and the direction of the platform's overall architecture and design

Other requirements
1. Experience building web applications
2. Deep knowledge of high-level programming languages (for example Node.js, PHP, Python, Go, etc.) but it doesn't need to be a language we use here
3. Experience with relational and non-relational databases
4. Knowledge of a modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.)
5. Broad knowledge of the web as a whole (HTTP, performance, security)
6. Great communication skills and an ability to talk about complex ideas to different, often non-technical, audiences
