About the internship

We are looking for a web development intern who will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users, as well as translating the UI/UX design wire frames to actual code that will produce the visual elements of the application. You will also design the overall architecture of the web application and evolve it to ensure maximum performance and stability.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design overall architecture of the web application
2. Implement a robust set of services and APIs to power the web application
3. Build reusable code and libraries for future use
4. Work on the optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
5. Implement security and data protection
6. Translate the UI/UX wireframes to visual elements
7. Integrate the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application
8. Understand the differences between multiple delivery platforms (such as mobile and desktop), and optimize output to match the specific platform
9. Create database schemes that represent and support business processes
10. Work on data migration, transformation, and scripting

Other requirements

1. Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience

2. Must have proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language

3. Depending on the specific case, a developer should have the knowledge of one or more: PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript, etc.

4. Must have the ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
