Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Website Product Listing Executive to manage and maintain accurate, high-quality product listings on our website and other digital sales channels. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that all product information is correctly entered, updated, and optimized to drive visibility, searchability, and conversions.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, good written communication skills, and a solid understanding of e-commerce platforms and product data management. The Product Listing Executive will work closely with cross-functional teams including design, merchandising, marketing, and logistics to ensure a seamless online shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Listing Management

Upload new products on the website with accurate and complete information including product titles, descriptions, prices, SKUs, and specifications.

Coordinate with the sourcing or merchandising team to collect product details, images, and related documentation.

Assign appropriate categories, filters, tags, and attributes to improve navigation and searchability.

Maintain a consistent product naming convention, formatting, and brand tone.
2. Image & Content Coordination

Ensure that high-quality images (single and multiple angles) are uploaded with proper formatting and alignment.

Resize, rename, and format images using basic editing tools when required.

Collaborate with content writers or marketing teams to craft compelling product descriptions, feature lists, and SEO-friendly content.

Ensure compliance with content and copyright standards.
3. Product Updates & Maintenance

Regularly audit product listings to check for outdated information, pricing errors, stock availability, and broken links.

Update product pricing, stock levels, promotions, or shipping details as directed by inventory or pricing teams.

Remove or archive discontinued or out-of-stock products in coordination with the inventory team.
4. Platform & Marketplace Integration

Manage product listings not only on the brand website but also across marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra, etc. (if applicable).

Ensure product content is optimized for each platform’s format and guidelines.

Monitor seller dashboards for errors, warnings, or performance issues.
5. SEO Optimization & Keyword Tagging

Implement basic on-page SEO techniques such as including keywords in product titles and descriptions.

Tag products with search-friendly terms and attributes to improve discoverability.

Work with the digital marketing or SEO team to identify trends in search behavior.
6. Reporting & Analysis

Maintain a tracker or dashboard for all product uploads, updates, and pending listings.

Generate periodic reports on product views, conversion rates, and listing performance.

Suggest improvements in product visibility and categorization based on analytics.
7. Quality Control & Error Handling

Double-check all listings before going live to prevent errors in pricing, specifications, or descriptions.

Flag discrepancies or missing data and coordinate with the relevant departments to resolve them.
