Project Scientist

Qualification : Ph.D. in Wildlife Sciences / Zoology / Life Sciences / Forestry or related subjects with 1 year’ experience in Wildlife Science / conservation, after the submission of Ph.D. thesis.

Desirable : Expertise in wetland ecology or conservation and sound knowledge on biology of aquatic wildlife. Good management skills

Emolument : Rs. 56,000/-

Project Associate (Ecology)

Qualification : Masters’ degree in Wildlife Sciences / Forestry / Environmental Studies / Botany / Zoology / Life Sciences or related subjects with 3 years’ experience in wildlife science.

Desirable : Experience in fresh water population and habitat assessment; good analytical skills; good management skills.

Project Fellow (Ecology)

Qualification : Masters’ degree in Wildlife Sciences / Veterinary science/ Forestry / Environmental Science or Management / Botany / Zoology / Life Sciences or related subjects with  1 year experience of wildlife science.

Desirable : Research / conservation experience on aquatic mammals / wetland ecology.

Project : Capacity Building of Forest Department and Other Stakeholders

Project Associate (Training Coordinator)

Qualification : Masters’ degree in Wildlife Sciences / Forestry / Environmental Studies / Botany / Zoology / Life Sciences or related subjects with 3 years’ experience in wildlife science. 

Desirable : Experience in organizing capacity building workshops; good analytical skills; project management skills.

Project Scientist (Rescue and rehabilitation)

Qualification : Ph.D. in Wildlife Sciences / Zoology / Life Sciences / Veterinary sciences or related subjects Master Degree in Veterinary Science or related subjects with 2 years of experience in veterinary practice / research / conservation.

Desirable : Experience in conservation breeding and Zoo management; Handling of emergent situations pertaining to higher aquatic vertebrate fauna

Project Associate (Veterinary)

Desirable : Working knowledge of computer in MS Office, Internet and email; knowledge of typing in English; working knowledge of office procedures; skills of noting and drafting of official letters and reports

Qualification : Graduate degree in Commerce with 1 year of working experience of Finance / Accounts / Audit in government / autonomous organizations / PSU

Desirable : Adequate knowledge of accounting and expertise in accounting software TALLY; knowledge of computer in MS Windows, Excel, Internet and email; knowledge of preparing cash book, financial reports, balance sheet and filling tax returns
