Project Associate/ Project Fellow Job Position in Wildlife Institute of India (WII)

Project Associate (Veterinary Science) 

No. of Post : 01

Qualifications : Masters Degree in Veterinary Sciences from a recognized university

Desirable : Experience in veterinary practice/ field conservation, capture and handling of free ranging animals, management of wild animals in conflict situations, captive management

Fellowship

PA-I Rs. 36,000 

PA-II Rs. 38,000

PA-II Rs. 40,000 + HRA

Age Limit : up to 40 years

Project Fellow

No. of Posts : 03

Qualifications : Post Graduate Degree in Wildlife Sciences/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Environmental Sciences or Management/ Life Sciences/ Biodiversity and Conservation with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University

Desirable : Experience /interest in: field data collection for mammals; abundance estimation and analysis; behavioural studies Remote sensing & GIS Human dimensions of wildlife management, working with communities to reduce conflicts

Fellowship : Rs. 16,000/month for first two years and 18,000/month (After two years & fulfilling requirements) + HRA 

Age Limit : up to 28 years

Application Fee : Bank Draft of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) drawn in favour of the Director, Wildlife Institute of India, payable at Dehradun

Recruitment process : The selection of Project Fellows will be through a written test followed by a personal interview.
