Job Description
As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for all aspects of front-end & back-end web development within a team and will have much to contribute in shaping the way our digital offering goes forward.
- Knowledge of WordPress plugins and architecture
- Knowledge in PHP, HTML and CSS
- Knowledge of Ajax, jQuery and JavaScript.,MySQL
- Experience in developing E-Commerce websites
- Should have experience in plugins & theme customization
- Develop new sites using WordPress
- Assist the Lead Developer in shaping and implementing the WordPress platform strategy for the business
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Developer focusing on the scaling and resilience of Future’s high-profile and high-traffic WordPress sites
- Create bespoke plugins and developing modules for WordPress
- Maintain existing sites
- Liaise and interface with clients & stakeholders
- Document technical and functional specifications
- Provide technical consultancy services to stakeholders
- Liaise with IT and Systems departments to put best practice, QAT and platform appraisal processes into place.
- Ensure that we meet commercial 'go-live' deadlines
- Mentor to junior developers
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
- UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Computers, B.Sc - Any Specialization.
- PG: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization, Post Graduation Not Required, MCA - Computers.
