• A Digital Marketing and Web Designing agency is looking for a skilled Entry Level/Associate Level WordPress designer with 6 months to 2 years of experience. 
• It is a great opportunity for fresh graduates, associate level professionals and people who lost their jobs in COVID-19 pandemic. 
• The candidate must have the ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into functional, responsive WordPress pages with use of Elementor and other plugins, and design the necessary creatives for the same using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva etc. 
• Your main role will be to create relatively simple static websites using wordpress and elementor in accordance with our design language and exact requirements. 
• We’d like someone who is inclined more towards design than development and has a good working knowhow of WordPress. 
• The candidate must be comfortable with adding basic custom html, css and javascript in our websites. 
• Your secondary role will be creating/modifying basic onpage SEO content on the entire website, web designing related data entry work and basic graphic design. 
• The candidate must carefully understand the exact requirements and details and work accordingly. 
• The candidate must be able to CREATE AT LEAST 3 WEBSITES PER MONTH (the websites are relatively simple and static). 
• We are not looking for slow candidates.
•  The candidate must learn fast.

MUST HAVE SKILLS : WordPress, Elemetor, Custom HTML/CSS/Javascript, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Basic Graphic Design and Image Editing.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use Wordpress and Elementor to create responsive web pages in a fast-paced environment.

• Create/Modify entire website content and optimised it for onpage SEO to deliver the best performance on our websites.

• Adapt to our design language and ENSURE EXACT REQUIREMENTS AND DETAILS ARE ALWAYS MATCHED in a creative yet basic and lightweight manner.

• Ensure the website is optimized for content consumption and conversion.

• On page SEO with Yoast and RankMath SEO, meta keywords and other best practices to make sure we have a good page speed insights score.

• Create contact forms using ContactForm 7 and custom CSS as per requirements.

• Data entry work related to web designing (Duplicate pages and change common text for SEO purpose).

• Create Social Media accounts of various platforms, fill out business details and create posts on them for our clients.

• Troubleshoot layout, browser cross-compatibility, and functional issues.

• Customize the site by using plugins and custom code to perform various functions as applicable.

What you will be provided with:

• You will be provided with login credentials of a wordpress installation on our servers.

• You will get guidance and assistance for all the necessary requirements and details when needed.

• Work Timings can be adjusted a little, but deadlines are non-negotiable.

Requirements / Qualification:

• Online Portfolio demonstrating experience and skills in web design, preferably WordPress sites. Search rankings on Google and Bing for SEO is a plus.

• 6 months to 2 years of experience working with WordPress, Elementor & Graphic Design.

• Strong communication skills and professional grasp on written and verbal English.

• Strong typographic, illustration, and lay-out skills with tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, XD etc.

• The candidate must be fast and very efficient and MUST BE ABLE TO CREATE AT LEAST 3 WEBSITES PER MONTH.

• DEADLINES ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE. The candidate must meet the deadlines. No excuses will be entertained.

• Work remotely full time on work and time monitoring softwares like: Hubstaff, TeamViewer, Zoho Cliq, Trello with daily online meetings and work reports and weekly meetings in person until the COVID-19 situation gets under control.

• The candidate must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) (also known as a Confidentiality Agreement).

Hardware Requirements:

• Personal Laptop/Desktop with Intel Core i3 (4 cores) or higher, at least 8gh RAM, minimum screen/monitor size of 15.6 inches and Windows 7 or higher (Windows 10 preferred).

• Stable electricity and internet connection (Broadband preferred-JioFi/Smartphone with Jio 4G sim will just do fine).

Preferred Candidate:

• Has the basic/moderate knowledge of WordPress best practices.

• Good experience with the Elementor plugin to create webpages.

• Must be fast and very efficient.

• Great with photoshop and Illustrator.

• Someone who takes ownership and is responsible, accountable, serious and consistent.

• Communicates well, is curious, self-motivated, hard-working, fast learner, energetic &

well-organized.

• Likes to explore new techniques and technologies.

The Evaluation Process:

The evaluation process will be completed in 4 stages:

Stage 1: All the applications will be reviewed and candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage based on their portfolio and examples of previous work.

Stage 2: All the shortlisted candidates will be interviewed either over the phone or on zoom.

Stage 3: All the successful candidates in the interview will be evaluated further by a skill test. The test will not be very complicated but the time taken by you to complete it will be noticed and it will be a key factor for shortlisting further candidates.

Stage 4: The final stage for the shortlisted candidates in stage 3 will be an in person interview and final skill test.

All the applicants will be notified via email about their progress and the successful candidate in all the 4 stages will receive an appointment letter by email.

Salary:

Consolidated Salary: INR 10,000 /Month to INR 15,000 /Month (Depending upon skill, speed, experience and consistency).

The final Consolidated Salary will be determined in the last stage of the evaluation process - in person interview and skill test.
