Job Description

Job Overview: We are looking for a talented and experienced WordPress Developer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress website development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in WordPress theme and plugin development, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites for various clients and projects.
Build responsive, clean, and optimized websites that deliver exceptional user experiences.
Integrate third-party APIs and custom plugins into WordPress sites.
Troubleshoot and debug any issues related to WordPress sites, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to meet client requirements.
Ensure the websites are SEO-friendly and adhere to best practices for speed, security, and accessibility.
Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in WordPress development and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience working with WordPress development (theme and plugin development).
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Strong knowledge of WordPress themes and plugins, including customization and development.
Experience with WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, etc.).
Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
Experience with website performance optimization and security best practices.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Ability to troubleshoot, test, and resolve website issues.
Good understanding of SEO best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with popular WordPress frameworks (e.g., Genesis, Underscores).
Experience integrating eCommerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce).
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
Experience with website migration and server management.
Familiarity with Gulp, Webpack, or other task runners.
