Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our web development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic websites using WordPress. You will work closely with designers, content creators, SEO teams, and clients to deliver high-performing, user-friendly websites.
Your primary focus will be on custom theme and plugin development, improving website performance, and ensuring websites are secure, scalable, and responsive. A solid understanding of front-end and back-end development within the WordPress ecosystem is essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Website Design and Development

Build fully functional WordPress websites using custom themes or page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.

Develop responsive, mobile-friendly websites that work across all major browsers and devices.

Convert PSD/Figma/XD designs into pixel-perfect WordPress themes.

Customize existing themes to meet project-specific requirements.
2. Plugin Development and Customization

Create custom plugins to add specific functionality to websites.

Modify and extend third-party plugins as needed.

Ensure all plugins are compatible with the latest WordPress versions and coding standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve plugin conflicts or errors.
3. Backend Development

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code to support custom WordPress functionality.

Use MySQL to manage database queries and optimize database performance.

Build and manage custom post types, taxonomies, shortcodes, and widgets.
4. Frontend Integration

Work with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery to design visually engaging layouts.

Implement interactive UI components and animations to enhance user experience.

Ensure accessibility (WCAG compliance) and performance optimization using best practices.
5. Website Maintenance and Support

Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins.

Monitor website health, uptime, and loading speed.

Perform website backups and restore processes when necessary.

Fix bugs, broken links, or errors reported by clients or internal QA.
6. SEO and Performance Optimization

7. Security and Compliance

8. Client Communication and Project Management
