Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented WordPress Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of WordPress development, customization, and maintenance, along with the ability to translate design concepts into functional, responsive, and user-friendly websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites (themes & plugins).
- Convert Figma/Adobe XD/Sketch designs into responsive WordPress websites.
- Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Implement and maintain best practices for performance, security, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to WordPress sites, plugins, and hosting.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Perform regular updates, backups, and optimization of WordPress websites.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1–2 years of professional WordPress development experience.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and Canva.
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, etc.).
- Familiarity with custom theme & plugin development.
- Understanding of MySQL databases and hosting environments.
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
- Ability to work with version control systems (Git).
- Good problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Good to Have (Optional)
- Experience with Woo-Commerce customization.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with modern frameworks (React, Vue.js) for headless WordPress projects.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
