Job Description

About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Build, extend, maintain, and optimize our website using the WordPress CMS
2. Develop page types, taxonomy language, menu systems, and other WordPress CMS data structures based on wireframes and project requirements
3. Manage the design and implementation of responsive websites from initial concept, site architecture, the user interface to the finished deliverable
4. Develop and design web applications and components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
5. Work as a WordPress website solution expert and guide our platform architecture, develop plugins, and establish best practices
6. Build fully functional WordPress websites based on business requirements and design specifications
7. Confer with teams to resolve issues/bugs, prioritize needs, and identify and implement solutions
8. Design, code, test, and implement websites and applications, for either internal or external uses
9. Support and maintain existing web applications
10. Develop, deploy and customize plugins and themes in WordPress

1. Should have 1+ years experience with - WordPress, PHP and MySQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Chrome DevTools

2. Should be up-to-date on the latest WordPress updates and news to implement the most applicable features

3. Should understand Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, results from Lighthouse, Web Vitals, and similar tools
