Job Description

We are seeking a WordPress Intern responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes from scratch(Including WooCommerce Customisation). This position requires a combination of programming skills namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and JavaScript. The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems and WooCommerce. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, development, and deployment is preferred.

Skills:

● WordPress theme integration & theme customization using child theme.

● Custom CMS theme development using a given html template or using a page builder like Elementor.

● Knowledge of inbuilt WordPress functions, custom post types creation, short code registration & widgets creation with the WordPress coding standards.

● Plugin integration.

● MySQL, PHP, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML & CSS.

● Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues.

● Proven experience in WooCommerce, Membership based website/well-known theme integration.

● Familiar with REST API development.

● Experience creating multilingual websites.

● Good communication skills.

● Develop and Customize WordPress Themes from scratch.
● Write clean, valid code using modern standards and libraries.

● Integrate with third-party APIs.

● Unit testing new features to ensure they meet requirements and conform to Monetize More s quality standards.

● Actively participate in code reviews. We have a culture that relies on trust so developer feedback is critical in building high quality technology.

● Staying up to date with new trends and advancements in WordPress development and ad tech.

● Knowledge of code versioning tools like Git.

● Knowledge of other page builders or editors like Webflow, Wix.

Roles & Responsibilities:
● In charge of coding, code maintenance, and testing.

● Working closely with the UI/UX team to create high quality browser/device compatible wordpress websites.

● Responsible for converting design (PSDs/PNGs) into browser/device compatible responsive wordpress using Elementor.

● Developing custom wordPress themes according to client's requirements.

● To develop & manage the website back-end including database and server integration.

● Optimize websites for maximum speed.

● Monitoring the performance of the live website.

● Responsible for researching the latest programming techniques and web technologies.
