Job Description

PitchWorx, a growing creative agency is looking for a full time Wordpress WooCommerce Developer with 3+ years of relevant experience and skills in the following areas:

 

  1. Experience in developing and managing / maintaining websites including mobile friendly and responsive websites using Wordpress and WooCommerce.
  2. Strong understanding of open source Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal etc. and excellent knowledge of WooCommerce.
  3. Good Knowledge and relevant work experience in CSS, HTML5, PHP, WordPress, MySQL, HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX
  4. Should be experienced in WordPress and WooCommerce plugins and also theme customization. Should also have experience with working and deploying 3rd party API’s/ Plugins on website
  5. Previous experience in building WordPress based websites from ground up including knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions and custom posts
  6. Strong understanding, knowledge and work experience related to: How WordPress works; Installation of common WordPress and WooCommerce Plugins and Themes; WordPress Hooks and Filters; Plugin development, Coding widgets, etc.; Implementation of ecommerce on WordPress; Making the site SEO friendly.
  7. Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards (W3C Guidelines).
  8. Strong understanding of object-oriented PHP
  9. Knowledge of valid Semantic html/html5 markup.
  10. Ability to translate PSD/ AI/ XD compositions and annotated wireframes into clean HTML codes (both web and mail templates)
