Workplace Collaboration SME has Expert level skills in one or more communication and the collaboration technologies (on-premise or on cloud) like Office 365 Suite, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Skype, Lync, MS Teams, Yammer, CISCO WebEx, CISCO Jabber, Dominos AD/AAD and similar collaboration technologies.
Individual in this job role acts as a technical escalation point for “Workplace Collaboration Administrators” and provides technical leadership to Internal delivery team, customer/s and IBM Account Team for all technical discussions, Major Incidents, Complex RFS activities etc. They also work closely with the customer/s to review customer IT environment, work on remediating the technological gaps, develop remediation plans and provides technical recommendations.
SMEs are responsible to ensure the stability of customer’s Collaboration environment and review and implement any changes to the environment as required to have minimum to no impact to customer business. SME would lead all Major Incidents in customer Collaboration environment and provide technical resolution within the agreed SLA timeframe.
SMEs would also conduct skill gap analysis and conduct trainings to bridge any gaps found and build SOPs and technology best practices for internal consumption by IBM Delivery team.
SMEs are engaged in escalated technical issues to provide timely resolution and they represent the delivery team in customer daily, weekly, monthly interlocks.
SMEs lead the RFS requirements and implement technical solutions approved by the customer that includes remediation before migration, migration to O365 or fresh new set-up of the collaboration environment, support post migration issues and provide required handholding.

Expert level skills in collaboration technologies Eg: Major workloads within Office 365 Suite across various licenses and its on-premise components like Exchange, SharePoint, Skype, Lync and similar Collaboration products like Yammer, CISCO WebEx, CISCO Jabber,
Expert level knowledge of On-Premise Active Directory or Azure Active Directory (AAD)
Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Security Products like Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS)
Knowledge of Scripting (Eg: PowerShell)
Ability to implement simple to complex technical solutions with migration capabilities (Collaboration technologies)
Knowledge of migration tools like “Quest”, “Binary Tree” etc
Good Knowledge of Windows Server Administration
Ability to communicate effectively (Written and Oral)
