World Wide Fund India (WWF India) invites applications for the position of Manager
1. Position: Manager – Conservation Alliances
2. Roles and Responsibilities:
a. WWF India, one of the country’s largest conservation organizations is looking for enthusiastic mature individuals to help the Conservation Alliances team at WWF-India raise funds to expand and upscale the conservation work across the country.
b. The objective of Conservation Alliances is to develop partnerships with corporates that deliver on multiple benefits, which intersect with WWF conservation priorities, and provide leadership examples that leverage broader change. It works with businesses and industries to promote social responsibility and help find market-based tools for sustainable development.
3. Location: New Delhi.
4. The Job Profile:
a. Identify and convert new corporate partnership opportunities to increase the organization’s reach and raise funds to support organization conservation initiatives in the country.
b. Identify target companies WWF-India can engage with based on the organization’s corporate engagement policy. Research on the interests of the target companies, their CSR budgets, and the kind of projects they are likely to support.
c. hereafter, acquire and convert the prospects into partnerships.
d. Identify deepening opportunities with existing corporate partnerships and convert those opportunities into diverse engagements with the corporate as per WWF India’s suite of engagement products/offerings.
e. Present a comprehensive basket of product offerings to Prospects/Existing Partners.
f. Play an active role in achieving individual and team targets.
g. Contribute to the development of relevant fundraising communication materials - concept notes, PowerPoint presentations, proposals, reports, newsletters, etc.
5. Qualifications, Experience, and competencies required:
a. Graduate in any stream from a recognized University.
b. Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Marketing shall be an advantage.
c. 10 + years of work experience.
d. Work Experience in a Development Sector organization will be an advantage but not a constraining factor for the right candidate.
e. Excellent communication and presentation skills to represent WWF India.
f. Highly performance-oriented and target-driven. Ability to work in a team.
6. Desired Skills and Abilities:
a. Good understanding of CSR, Wildlife Conservation, and Nature Conservation issues. Ability and understanding to work as per WWF India’s corporate engagement guidelines.
b. Strong interpersonal skills and team player. Strong Business Development skills. Prior fundraising experience will be an added advantage. Strong Relationship Management Skills.
c. Good Networking skills and ability to build and manage professional relationships. Ability to influence & persuade Prospects.
d. Ability and desire to follow processes including outreach tracking methods and Partner Engagement Plan. Ability to take ownership and have a pro-active attitude with initiative-taking ability.
