Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Technician to join our radiology department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment, assisting physicians in diagnosing injuries and illnesses. The technician must ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and image quality while maintaining hospital protocols and hygiene standards.
This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to handle patients with care and professionalism. Candidates with prior hospital experience or freshers with a diploma in radiology are welcome to apply.
✅ Operate X-ray and other imaging equipment efficiently for diagnostic purposes.
✅ Position patients accurately and adjust equipment settings to capture required images.
✅ Ensure patient safety by applying proper radiation protection measures (e.g., use of lead shields).
✅ Prepare and maintain X-ray rooms, equipment, and supplies in a clean and ready-to-use condition.
✅ Maintain accurate records of procedures performed, including image documentation and patient details.
✅ Assist radiologists or physicians in interpreting images when required.
✅ Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols.
✅ Report equipment malfunctions promptly to the appropriate authority.
✅ Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients before, during, and after procedures.
✅ Comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards (e.g., AERB guidelines in India).
