Young Professional II job Position in Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes (CIRB) on contract
Essential Qualification: Graduate in Vety. (B.V.Sc. &AH) Science from recognized Universities/ institutions
Desired experience : Experience of per-rectal examination Ultrasonography, Artificial Insemination and treatment of large animals.
Consolidated Emoluments payable to Rs.25000
Period of contract: One year, extendable to maximum of another term based on needs of the Institute and performance of candidate. However, contract can be terminated prematurely by either side without assigning any reason with a notice of 30 days.
Title of Project: Genetic Improvement of Nili-Ravi Buffalo (Under Network Project on Buffalo Improvement)
Essential Qualification: Graduate in Vety. (B.V.Sc. &AH) Science from recognized Universities/ institutions
Preferable qualification: M.VSc. in Veterinary Gynecology, Medicine, Surgery
Desired experience : Experience of per-rectal examination Ultrasonography, Artificial Insemination and treatment of large animals.
Age on the day of interview: Minimum age of 21 years and maximum age of 45 years (upper age relaxation of 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates)

Transfer of erstwhile Progeny Testing Bull Farm Hisar from the Haryana State Government, to the Indian Council of Agricultural Research in the year 1985, paved the way for the establishment of the Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes (CIRB). Available infrastructure, land, assets and buffalo herd of the Progeny Testing Bull Farm were transferred to the CIRB and the Institute started functioning from 1st February 1985 at Hisar. The Institute has approved cadre strength of 40 scientists of which 34 scientists are in position, including at the sub-campus.
