Young Professional-II (AKMU) /Technical Assistant job recruitment in NBFGR .
Young Professional-II (AKMU) / 01 Post
Essential Qualification: M.Sc./MCA/M. Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology with first division or equivalent. Candidate with graduation in engineering/mathematics/science with mathematics possessing M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. qualification in computer science/Information Technology will be preferred.
Desirable: Websites/Portals development & management with ASP.NET, Java, PHP, Perl, Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, HTML5, Bootstrap and Web Services etc. Mobile application development and maintenance for Android Phones, Window Mobile, iPhone,iPad etc. Sound working knowledge in UNIX/Windows certification in System administration of UNIX/Linux/Windows based servers/Cluster Servers, Virtualization, SAN, Backup and System security. Designing and development of application, database components and reusable objects, product customization ASP.NET, Java, PHP, Perl, Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, HTML5. Good knowledge of Database Administration (Oracle/MS SQL Server/MySQL). Configuration of IIS, Apache, Tomcat for different Applications (Drupal, Moodle, Wordpress, Joomla etc.).
Pay Scale: Rs. 25,000
Age: 21-45 years (age relation will be applicable as per govt. rules)

Project: 'Whole genome sequencing and development of allied genomic resources in two commercially important fish-Labeo Rohita and Clarias batrachus'
Essential Qualification: B.Sc. (Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Life Sciences) with first division. Desirable Qualification: Working experience in assembly and annotation of genome.
Pay Scale : Rs. 15,000
Age: 21-45 years (age relation will be applicable as per govt. rules)
Technical Assistant /01 Post
Essential: Graduate degree in Life Science/Biotechnology/Fisheries Science. Desirable: Experience in wet laboratory activity and computer applications.
Pay Scale : Rs. 12000
Age: Maximum 35 years as on the date of interview (Relaxation as per rule)

The National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources (NBFGR) was
established in December 1983 in a rented premises at Allahabad under
the aegis of Indian Council of Agricultural Research to undertake
research related to the conservation of fish germplasm resources of the
country. The Bureau’s permanent infrastructure was developed at Canal
Ring Road, Telibagh, Lucknow, U.P in 1999 comprising an administrative
block, laboratories, farm and residential complex covering an area of
52 acres. The Institute's vision is assessment and conservation of fish
genetic resources for intellectual property protection, sustainable
utilization and posterity.
