Job Description
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred streams: Mass Communication, Marketing, Media Studies, Journalism, or Business Administration).
Candidates from other backgrounds (Engineering, Arts, Commerce, etc.) are welcome if they show strong digital skills and creative drive.
Certification or coursework in Digital Marketing, YouTube Growth, or Video Editing (Google Digital Garage, Coursera, Skillshare, etc.) is a plus.
Familiarity with YouTube Studio, TubeBuddy, or VidIQ for analytics and SEO.
Basic understanding of YouTube algorithms, watch time optimization, and audience retention techniques.
Working knowledge of Canva or similar tools for thumbnail design.
Optional but valuable: exposure to CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve for simple edits.
Strong command of Google Sheets/Docs for tracking performance and planning content.
Entrepreneurial attitude — takes ownership like it’s their own channel.
Highly proactive and self-motivated; learns from results and keeps improving.
Analytical mindset — able to interpret YouTube data and make smart creative choices.
Creative eye for visuals, titles, and audience hooks.
Passionate about storytelling, trends, and digital growth.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Good command of English; fluency in Hindi or another Indian language is an advantage.
Internship or project experience managing social media pages, YouTube channels, or student clubs.
Prior involvement in short-form video creation (Reels, Shorts, or TikTok).
Evidence of personal initiative — e.g., managing a small channel, blog, or digital project independently.
