Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Systems Software Engineer you will be involved in the development, enhancements, debugging and bug fixing of SAK Exercisers. SAK Exercisers are programs written in PL/X which runs in the SAK Operating Operating System to verify the System Architecture of IBM Systemz hardware components like the CPU, IO Adapters etc.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

At least 1-3 years of experience in Systems programming with good knowledge on OS internals and understanding of system architectures (CPU, IO Devices etc).
Sound knowledge of operating system internals (Linux/Unix/AIX, z/OS)
Proven programming skills (C, PL/X)
Hardware Architecture knowledge (CPU Architectures/IO Architectures)
Proven debugging and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a global team environment
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Candidates having exposure to System z main-frame environment (z/OS, z/VM)
