Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Executive with proficiency in Tally or other accounting software and a strong understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. The candidate will be responsible for handling data entry, purchase and sales entries, and financial transactions efficiently. Good MS Excel skills and fast computer typing speed are required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Data Entry:

Record purchase, sales, receipts, and payments in Tally or other accounting software.
Maintain and reconcile ledgers, accounts, and financial records.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry of financial transactions.

GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance:

Calculate and file GST, TDS, and other tax-related returns.
Ensure compliance with government regulations and financial policies.
Assist in audits and financial reporting as required.

Excel & Financial Analysis:

Prepare financial statements, reports, and balance sheets using MS Excel.
Work with formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP for data analysis.
Assist in bank reconciliations and vendor payments.

General Accounting Support:

Maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, and expense records.
Coordinate with vendors and clients for billing and payment follow-ups.
Support the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent).
Experience: Experience in accounting, finance, or data entry roles preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, QuickBooks, or other accounting software.
- Strong MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Other Skills:
- Fast and accurate computer typing speed.
- Attention to detail and good numerical skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and multitask efficiently.
