Job Description
Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Accountant & Office Staff member to manage accounting tasks, financial reporting, and day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, office administration, and multitasking abilities. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and excellent organizational skills to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Management

Maintain accurate books of accounts including ledger entries, invoices, bills, and payments.

Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of transactions.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Manage bank reconciliations, petty cash, and expense tracking.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and other statutory requirements.
2. Office Administration

Manage day-to-day office activities, including filing, record keeping, and correspondence.

Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and maintaining office calendars.

Coordinate with vendors, clients, and service providers for smooth operations.

Monitor office supplies and ensure timely procurement of necessary items.
3. Reporting & Documentation

Prepare reports on financial performance, cash flow, and operational activities.

Maintain proper documentation of invoices, receipts, contracts, and other important records.

Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial and administrative information.
4. Coordination & Communication

Serve as a liaison between management, clients, and internal teams.

Assist in client billing, payment follow-ups, and correspondence.

Support HR or management in basic administrative and clerical tasks.
Required Skills & Competencies

Accounting Skills: Knowledge of accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.

Office Management: Ability to handle administrative duties efficiently.
