Job Description
We are looking for an Accountant to perform daily accounting tasks. Accountant responsibilities include managing Payables and reimbursements, entering financial transactions, creating invoices, and collection. Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

- Foreign Remittance & Interest Calculation
- Accounts Finalization
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Record Keeping
-
Maintain and update financial records in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Record all day-to-day financial transactions accurately, including journal entries, purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Reconcile bank statements and ensure consistency with internal records.
2. Accounts Payable and Receivable
-
Manage vendor accounts by verifying and processing invoices, ensuring timely payments.

Handle customer accounts, issue invoices, track incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding dues.

Monitor cash flow and report irregularities or payment delays.
3. Preparation of Financial Statements
-
Prepare key financial reports including balance sheets, profit and loss (P&L) statements, cash flow statements, and trial balances.

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Analyze financial reports to identify discrepancies or areas requiring attention.
4. Taxation and Compliance
-
Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory tax documents as required by law.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and national government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Stay updated on changing tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments in the accounts.
5. Budgeting and Forecasting
-
Assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts in coordination with the finance or management team.

Monitor departmental spending and ensure alignment with budgeted figures.

Highlight variances and assist in controlling expenditures.
6. Audit Support
-
Prepare necessary financial documents and records for internal and external audits.

Respond to auditor queries and ensure timely completion of audit procedures.

Implement audit recommendations for improved controls and transparency.
7. Payroll Processing (If applicable)
-
Calculate salaries, bonuses, deductions, and other components for employee payroll.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of monthly payroll.

Handle compliance with PF, ESI, and other statutory payroll requirements.
8. Inventory and Asset Management
-
Maintain records of fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and inventory movement.

Conduct periodic reconciliation of physical stock with accounting records (if applicable).
9. Team Collaboration and Reporting
-
Work closely with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
-
Provide timely financial reports and updates to management.
-
Participate in regular finance meetings, share insights, and recommend process improvements.
