Duties:
- Billing & Invoicing
- Payables Management
- Petty Cash Management
- Debit Note/Credit Note
- Customer Correspondence
- Banking Correspondence
- GST Calculation
- Accounts Finalization
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping and Data Entry:
-
Maintain and update general ledger accounts with accurate and timely entries.

Record all financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Ensure supporting documentation for all transactions is complete and properly filed.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
-
Manage accounts payable: verify vendor invoices, process payments, and maintain vendor accounts.

Manage accounts receivable: prepare customer invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain customer accounts.

Perform reconciliations for supplier and customer statements regularly.
Bank and Ledger Reconciliation:
-
Reconcile bank statements with company books on a monthly basis.

Monitor cash flow and report discrepancies.

Investigate and resolve account discrepancies or unusual items.
Tax and Statutory Compliance:
-
Prepare and file monthly/quarterly/annual tax returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) as per local laws.

Maintain proper documentation for audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Assist auditors with internal and external audits by providing necessary information and documents.
Payroll and Employee Payments:
-
Support payroll processing including attendance reports, salary sheets, and deductions.

Calculate and process statutory deductions such as PF, ESI, TDS, and professional tax.

Handle reimbursements, bonuses, and other employee financial records as needed.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Prepare financial summaries, reports, and analysis for management review.

Track budgets and expenditures and alert management of any variances or overspending.
Inventory and Asset Management:
-
Monitor inventory records and assist in stock valuation at the end of the financial period.

Maintain a register of fixed assets and calculate depreciation as per accounting standards.
