Qualification: B. Com

Experience: - 2-3 years’

Location: Chakan Pune

Skills: - Accounting knowledge

GST knowledge,

TDS Knowledge

Knowledge of Taxation

Good Analytical Skills 

Good in communication (oral and written)

Good in excel

Good in operating Tally 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Process vendor invoices, verify payment terms, and ensure timely payment approvals.

  • Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to verify accuracy.

  • Generate and issue customer invoices, follow up on overdue accounts, and maintain AR aging reports.

  • Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding payments and account status.

2. General Ledger and Journal Entries:

  • Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries related to expenses, accruals, prepayments, and other routine transactions.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.

  • Track and record fixed asset additions, disposals, and depreciation.

3. Bank and Account Reconciliations:

  • Reconcile bank statements with internal cashbook records.

  • Investigate discrepancies or unusual transactions and resolve them promptly.

  • Maintain records of daily bank transactions and fund movements.

  • Assist in cash flow reporting and forecasting.

4. Financial Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare routine financial reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, trial balances, and cash flow statements.

  • Maintain proper documentation of accounting records in compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements during audits or internal reviews.

  • Support tax filings by organizing and providing necessary data.

5. Compliance and Controls:

  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (such as GAAP or IFRS), statutory laws, and internal financial policies.

  • Assist in preparing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.

  • Help maintain documentation and filing of compliance records for audits and regulatory submissions.

  • Identify and flag inconsistencies in financial transactions or procedures.

6. Support to Senior Accounting Staff:

  • Provide administrative and technical support to senior accountants and finance team leaders.

  • Assist in special projects, budgeting tasks, financial analysis, or process improvements.

  • Participate in ERP/Accounting system upgrades, testing, and implementation where needed.

  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing requested documents.
