Job Description

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our finance team. This is a 6-month to 1-year internship with the possibility of a full-time position based on performance and business needs.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
2. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
3. Support the preparation of financial reports, statements, and forecasts
4. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights
6. Conduct research on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance
7. Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

1. Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
