Accounts Clerk/District Youth Coordinators Job vacancies in Nehru Yuva Kendra
Sangathan (NYKS) for posting in district offices of NYKS, all over India.
Accounts Clerk cum Typists (ACT) /15 Posts
Qualification: B.com or Graduate in any dicipline with 2 yrs Accounts work experience with knowledge of Computer Application. Typing speed: 30 w.p.m in English or 25 w.p.m in Hindi. Knowledge of Computer application .
Desirable: 1. Experience of two years as National Service Volunteer (NSV)/ Rashtriya SadbhavanaYojana (RSY) Volunteer or National Youth Corps (NYC) Volunteer 2. PG Degree of Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD) in various courses will be an added advantage.
Pay Scale : Rs.25500-81100
District Youth Coordinators (DYC)/26 Posts
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent .
Desirable: Three years‟ experience in Youth Activities / Rural Development/ other social sectors including voluntary work in a reputed organization
Pay Scale : Rs.56100-177500
Age Limit for ACT and DYC both: 28 yrs relaxable for Govt.Servants/ Departmental Candidates upto 5 yrs. And for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/ESM and other specified categories in accordance with the instructions of GOI.
EXAMINATION CENTRES : The examination will be conducted online in venues given as below:- A&N Island - Port Blair, Andhra Pradesh - Vijayawada, Arunachal Pradesh - Itanagar, Assam - Guwahati, Bihar - Patna, Chandiagarh - Chandigarh, Chhatisgarh- Raipur, Dadar and Nagar Haweli - Surat, Daman and Diu, - Surat, Delhi - Delhi, Goa - Punji, Gujarat - Ahmedabad, Haryana - Karnal, Himachal Pradesh - Shimla, Jammu and Kashmir - Jammu, Jharkhand - Ranchi, Karnataka - Bangalaore, Kerala - Kochi, Lakshdweep - Kawarathi, Madhya Pradesh - Bhopal, Maharashtra – Mumbai/Thane/Navi Mumbai, Manipur – Imphal, Meghalaya - Shillong, Mizoram - Izwal, Nagaland - Kohima, Odisha - Bhubaneshwar, Pudducherry - Pudducherry, Punjab - Amritsar, Rajasthan - Jaipur, Sikkim - Gangtok, Tamil Nadu - Chennai, Telangana - Hyderabad, Tripura - Agartala, Uttar Pradesh - Lucknow, Uttrakhand - Dehradun, West Bengal - Greater Kolkata.
Fee Structure: General+OBC(Male) Rs.700/-, General+OBC (Female) Rs.350/-. No examination fee for SC/ST/PWD/ESM candidates.

Nehru Yuva Kendras were established in the year 1972 with the objective of providing rural youth avenues to take part in the process of nation building as well providing opportunities for the development of their personality and skills. In the year 1987-88, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan(NYKS) was set up as an autonomous organization under the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, to oversee working of these Kendras. NYKS is the largest grassroots level voluntary organization; one of its kind in the world. It channelizes the power of youth who are in the age group of 13-35 years on the principles of voluntarism, self-help and community participation.
