Job Description

3. Essential Job Functions:
i. Prepares draft tender documents for review and approval by the Administrative Officer or other designated authorities;
ii. Maintains fixed assets register in Tally and reconciles discrepancies;
iii. Performs procurement activities through GEM and CPP portals such as floating of tender, preparing draft comparative statements, and issue work orders after approval of competent authority;
iv. Maintains inventory including purchase and issuance of materials and makes a corresponding entry in Tally;
v. Management of payroll using Tally software;
vi. Knowledge of accounting standards and procedures applicable to higher education institution in payroll and inventory management;
vii. Other Tally and accounting tasks assigned by the supervisor;
4. Educational Qualifications: Minimum M. Com from recognised university or an MBA and have completed Tally ACE.
5. Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years work experience out of which at least one year Of relevant experience in an educational institution funded by the central government, preferably in an 11M/ IIT/ Centrally Funded Educational Institute with thorough knowledge of Tally/ PFMS/ Accounting function relevant to the post applied.
6. Other Conditions: The institution reserves the right to fill the position on a contractual basis or at a lower pay level or cancel the post if no suitable candidate is found
7. Remuneration: The position is to be filled at Pay Level 3 as per 7th CPC (Basic, HRA, DA, TA, and DA on TA) and other eligible benefits as approved by the board from time to time.

Not exceeding 30 years of age as on closing date for receipt of the application.
