Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
2. Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
3. Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
4. Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
5. Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc., as assigned
6. Update financial data in databases to ensure accurate and immediate availability when needed
7. Enter data into Tally, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, bank reconciliation statements, and preparation of debtors/creditors statements
8. Receive and process all invoices, expense forms, and requests for payments
9. Handle petty cash, and prepare bills and receipts
10. Maintain accounting records, make copies, file documents, etc.
11. Ensure statutory compliance of deducted and collected taxes such as Service Tax, TDS, and Profession Tax
12. Knowledge of returns for e-TDS, Service Tax, Profession Tax, and GST work.
