Job Description

Counsel students on academic programs, course selection, and study plans.

Guide students in setting academic goals and creating strategies to achieve them.

Monitor and track students’ academic performance, attendance, and overall progress.

Provide assistance in overcoming academic challenges and learning difficulties.

Collaborate with faculty and parents to support student development.

Organize workshops, orientation programs, and mentoring sessions.

Maintain proper records of student counselling sessions and progress reports.
-
Advise students on exam preparation, time management, and study techniques.

Stay updated with curriculum changes, academic policies, and institutional requirements.

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education, Counselling, or related field.
-
Prior experience as an Academic/Student Counsellor or in a similar role preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
-
Ability to handle sensitive student concerns with empathy and confidentiality.
-
Proficiency in MS Office and student record management tools.
