Job Title: Admissions Counselor / Sales CounselorJob Summary
We are seeking a motivated and people-focused Admissions (Sales) Counselor to guide prospective students/customers through the enrollment or purchase process. This role combines consultative sales with advising—building relationships, understanding needs, and converting leads into successful enrollments or sales while delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to inbound and outbound inquiries via phone, email, chat, and in person
Counsel prospective students/customers on programs/products, pricing, and requirements
Qualify leads and assess needs to recommend the best-fit solution
Follow up consistently to nurture leads and close enrollments/sales
Meet or exceed individual and team enrollment/sales targets
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
Conduct presentations, campus tours, demos, or info sessions as needed
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and academic/customer teams
Address objections professionally and handle questions with confidence
Support onboarding and ensure a smooth post-enrollment/customer handoff
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred, not always required)
1–3 years of experience in admissions, sales, counseling, or customer service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Goal-oriented mindset with a consultative sales approach
Ability to manage multiple leads and follow-up timelines
Basic proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office / Google Workspace
Experience in education, training, or service-based sales
High emotional intelligence and active listening skills
Persuasive yet ethical sales style
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relationship building
