Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and goal-driven Admission Counsellor to guide prospective students through the admission process and help them make informed decisions about their educational paths. The Admission Counsellor plays a critical role in converting inquiries into successful enrollments by providing accurate information, building trust, and supporting students and parents throughout the process.
This role requires strong communication skills, a persuasive approach, and the ability to understand each student’s academic and career aspirations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Management & Counseling:

Handle incoming inquiries via phone, email, walk-ins, and online platforms.

Counsel prospective students (and parents when applicable) on available courses, eligibility, fee structure, admission process, and career outcomes.

Follow up with leads in a timely and structured manner to convert inquiries into admissions.

Maintain a high level of product knowledge across all programs offered.
2. Admissions Process:

Guide students through the application and enrollment process from initial inquiry to final registration.

Help students with documentation, form filling, interview scheduling, entrance exams (if applicable), and payment procedures.

Ensure accurate and complete data entry of student information in CRM or admission portals.
3. Communication & Relationship Building:

Build rapport with prospective students and their families to understand their academic background, interests, and goals.

Address queries, concerns, and objections with clarity and confidence.

Provide post-admission support and maintain contact until the student joins.
4. Coordination & Reporting:

Work closely with academic teams, finance departments, and senior counselors to streamline the admissions process.

Provide regular updates and reports on inquiries, leads, conversions, and market feedback.

Track and meet daily/weekly/monthly admission targets.
5. Events & Outreach Activities:

Participate in educational fairs, school visits, seminars, webinars, and campus tours.

Organize open houses, information sessions, and counseling workshops to attract prospective students.

Represent the institution with professionalism and a strong understanding of program offerings.
