Roles and Responsibility
- Needs to make the Call to the student or the parents and guide them with regards to the admissions for Colleges
Key Responsibilities
1. Student Counselling & Guidance
-
Counsel students and parents over phone calls about courses, colleges, and admission procedures.

Understand students’ educational background, career goals, and preferences to suggest suitable programs.

Explain course curriculum, duration, eligibility criteria, fee structure, and job opportunities.

Assist students in making well-informed decisions about their education and career path.
2. Telecalling & Lead Management
-
Make outbound calls to potential students and parents from the given database.

Handle inbound calls from enquiries and provide detailed information.

Maintain a high volume of daily calls to reach maximum prospects.

Generate new leads through cold calling, referrals, and database follow-ups.

Keep track of student interactions and follow-ups using CRM or lead management systems.
3. Admission Process Support
-
Guide students through the entire admission process, from application to enrollment.

Provide assistance with form filling, document submission, and fee payment procedures.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for students.

Share updates about important deadlines, entrance exams, and admission schedules.
4. Sales & Conversion
-
Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets through effective telecalling and counselling.

Convince and motivate students and parents to choose suitable academic programs.

Handle objections confidently and convert enquiries into confirmed admissions.

Suggest value-added programs or additional courses where applicable.
5. Database & Reporting
-
Maintain accurate records of calls, enquiries, leads, and admissions in the system.

Update the database regularly with new leads and follow-up details.

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on enquiry status, conversion rates, and targets achieved.
6. Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.

Ensure a high level of student satisfaction through proper guidance and support.

Provide post-admission assistance when required.

Act as the first point of contact for students seeking help regarding admission-related queries.
7. Coordination & Teamwork

Collaborate with marketing, operations, and academic departments for smooth student onboarding.

Share insights about student demands, market trends, and competitor offerings.

Participate in team meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance counselling skills.
