Job Description

Drafting legal opinion, contract research and documentation. Knowledge of land/property related matters will be a plus but not a constraint
Shift: Day

Working hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM - Mon to Sat

Responsibilities:

Answer questions and provide in-depth explanations to clients and/or staff members

Find effective solutions to patient, customer, or client problems

Advise client and staff members on legal matters

Maintain and review records/documentation on behalf of the client so you can provide helpful and relevant information for the issue at hand

Create memos or reports for sentencing and court hearings

Develop and implement advocacy strategies to advance organization's goals and objectives

Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and community partners

Provide information and resources to clients and the general public about organization's services

Participate in community events, public speaking engagements and media interviews as needed

Track and report on key metrics related to advocacy efforts

Skills:

Strong communication skills, both oral and written

Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment

Passionate about social justice and advocating for marginalized communities
