Job Description
The Agricultural Development Officer:
- Implements, monitors, and evaluates agriculture programs that encompass a range of activities such as natural resource management, agribusiness, and agricultural institutional development
- Directs the work of the organization, providing administrative and technical
- This is a term limited non-career position.
- The Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) will be based in Saudi Arabia and will be assigned to a unit such as a Regional Platform (RP)/Regional Command (RC), Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT), District Support Team (DST), Special Operations Task Force (SOTF) or various positions in Sri-Lanka, Indian, Bangladesh.
- Field duty will entail co-location with coalition military or civilian entities, often in rustic and challenging conditions.
- ADOs will support agriculture and rural development programs in various locations and at various levels of government, by developing strategies, analytical models, methodologies, analyzing data and providing assistance and advice to both coalition and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA) counterparts.
