Customer Agent/ Handyman Job Position in Air India Air Transport Services Limited (AIATSL) at Mumbai on a Fixed Term Contract basis

Customer Agent

No. of Vacancies : 35 

Qualifications : Graduate in any discipline/faculty (minimum 3 years’ duration) from a recognized University with knowledge of basic computer operations. Must have minimum experience of one year in any of the areas or combination thereof, of fares, reservation, ticketing, computerized passenger check-in/ cargo handling area with any airline or Ground Handling agency. Preference will be given to those candidates who have the relevant experience at Mumbai Airport

Language Proficiency  : Should be conversant in English. Knowledge of Local & Hindi languages i.e. ability to understand and speak is desirable.

Height : Not below 158 cms. for Male and 152.5 cms. for Female candidates (Relaxation in height of 2.5 cms. to SC/ST candidates and candidates belonging from North-East Region)

Starting Emoluments : Rs.14,610/- p.m

Age Limit (as on 01st July 2016)

General : Not above 30 years (born between 02.07.1986 and 01.07.1998)

OBC : Not above 33 years (born between 02.07.1983 and 01.07.1998) 

SC/ST : Not above 35 years (born between 02.07.1981 and 01.07.1998)

Selection Procedure : (a) Screening (b) As applications are being invited only from the candidates having requisite Aviation Experience, only a screening process will be carried out. However, the company at it’s discretion may introduce the selection stage of Group Discussion depending on the response. (c) The selection procedure will be on the same day as for the walk-in date or on the subsequent day(s). The outstation candidates are advised to make their own arrangement of lodging and boarding at their own cost, if required.

Handyman

No. of Vacancies : 100

Qualifications : SSC / 10th Standard Pass. Must have minimum experience of one year in any of the areas or combination thereof, of Terminal Functions, Ramp Functions like Baggage / Cargo /Loading / Unloading and Aircraft Cabin Cleaning area with any Airline or Ground Handling Agency. Preference will be given to those candidates who have the relevant experience at Mumbai Airport.

Language Proficiency : Must be able to read and understand English Language . Knowledge of Local & Hindi languages i.e. ability to understand and speak is desirable. 

Height : Not below 160 cms. for Male (Relaxation in height of 2.5 cms. to SC/ST candidates and candidates belonging from North-East Region).

Starting Emoluments : Rs.11,040/- p.m.

Age Limit (as on 01st July 2016)

General : Not above 28 years (born between 02.07.1988 and 01.07.1998)

OBC : Not above 31 years (born between 02.07.1985 and 01.07.1998)

SC/ST : Not above 33 years (born between 02.07.1983 and 01.07.1998)

Selection Procedure : Will comprise of (a) Screening (b) As applications are being invited only from the candidates having requisite Aviation Experience, only a screening process will be carried out. However, the company at it’s discretion may introduce the selection stage of Proficiency Test and/or Physical Endurance test depending on the response.
