Job Description
Independently handle instruments such as high-performance liquid chromatography
(HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), UV-visible spectrophotometer, Viscometer, KF auto
titrator, Melting Point Apparatus etc. Maintaining and troubleshooting in case of
instrument breakdown.
Conduct routine analysis of different intermediates, actives, products and solutions
developed for various applications such as home & personal care, pharmaceutical,
coating & paint, polymer, surfactant, lubricant & others.
Demonstrate the ability to effectively execute assigned tasks and conduct complex
assignments. Interpret complex data and solve scientifically challenging problems.
Demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adapt to shifting project timelines.
Prepare analytical testing related documents like specifications, Analytical Testing
Procedures and Certificate of Analysis. Review existing analytical specifications and
methods and initiate revisions wherever required.
Prepare developmental / stability reports.
Ensure GLP is followed and avoid any non-compliance. Follow all safety guidelines.
Procure and study the Material Safety Data Sheets prior to handling any chemical.
Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of lab equipment.
Conduct literature search, be aware of industrial developments and try to incorporate
new ideas wherever appropriate.
Manage inventory of chemical, glassware and stocks of other consumables utilized in
daily lab activities.
