Job Description
1. Work on Android SDK, bug fixing and improving application performance
2. Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
3. Use card view, recycler view, navigation drawers, and Google Material design to create UI
4. Use libraries like Retrofit, Google Maps API
5. Build backend APIs
6. Work on fragments in Android
7. Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
8. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
9. Work on web technologies in addition to Android

2. can start the internship between 3rd Aug'20 and 7th Sep'20
3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
1. Candidates who graduated in 2019 or 2020 will be preferred
Project information: Lokavidya is an open educational ICT architecture that helps to capture, complement, supplement, and disseminate knowledge of existing integral practices. In the present circumstances, efficient and reliable techniques are needed for collecting, preserving, organizing (arranging), representing (describing), selecting (retrieving), reproducing (copying), and disseminating documents. This main goal of Lokavidya is to create a knowledge-sharing platform to share knowledge with everyone. The Technology Stack consists of the following frameworks: Front End - HTML; [removed] jQuery; CSS: Bootstrap, SASS, LESS; Back End - Ruby on Rails, SQL: SQLite Hosting Platform - Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services There are various components in Lokavidya: Lokavidya Create (Android App), Lokavidya View (Android App), Lokavidya Web (for PC/laptop/iPhone users which is an option for Lokavidya View), Lokavidya CMS (Web Admin Portal), and SSO (Single Sign-On).
