Job Description
Profile: Android Developer
Well-capitalized start-up seeks extremely talented Android developers to help reinvent learning on the Internet.
- You must have experience designing and building large and complex (yet maintainable) applications, and you should be able to do so in about one-third the time that most competent people think possible.
- You should have a B- Tech, BE, or Mtech in Computer Science or the equivalent.
Top-notch communication skills are essential.
Familiarity with web servers would be helpful but is not necessary. Expect talented, motivated, intense, and interesting co-workers.
Responsibilities:-
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features-
Work with outside data sources and APIs-
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability-
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance-
Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.-
Work closely with product and different business teams to identify new requirements for the platform.-
Participate in design discussion and create detail design and implement it.-
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications:-
- 2+ years of Experience building Android applications in Java/Kotlin-
- B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech in Computer Science-
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Git, and Gradle are a big plus-
- Deep knowledge of Collections, Algorithms and well-known application frameworks-
- Strong understanding of object-oriented software development and design patterns-
- Working experience with popular third-party libraries for networking, image handling etc-
- Understanding of large and complex code bases, including API design techniques to help keep them clean and maintainable-
- Knowledge of multithreading and memory management
