Job Description
Sub-Engineer (Electrical) Backlog vacancies in Eastern Power Distribution Company of A.P. Ltd on regular basis in Engineering Service
Qualification: Must possess a Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (DEEE) or Graduation in Electrical Engineering in addition to Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (DEEE) or any other equivalent qualification in Electrical Discipline recognized by the Board/ Government of A.P/ India/ UGC/ DEC/ AICTE as the case may be.

Age: Minimum age 18 years and maximum age 40 years as on 01.07.2016.
Note: (i) If there is any deviation from the above qualification, the candidates shall produce the equivalency certificate from the authority issuing the qualification certificate viz. Registrar of the University or Secretary of the institute for accepting his/her application. (ii) The Degrees/ Diplomas awarded by the Universities/Institutions that are recognized by the U.G.C-AICTE, D.E.C (Under IGNOU) shall only be considered. (iii) Technical Degrees / Diplomas awarded under Distance Mode / CCC Mode are not valid since there are certain court cases pending in Hon’ble High Court of A.P. & Telangana. (iv) Candidates with Graduation only in Engineering (EEE) without Diploma in EEE need not apply. (v) Candidates with Diplomas other than Electrical discipline need not apply.
Selection Procedure: Selections will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination as mentioned in the eligibility criteria.
Pay Scale: Rs. 20535-41155
Executive Bond : The candidates appointed will be required to execute a Bond (in Non-Judicial stamp paper worth Rs.110/- (Rupees One hundred and ten only) at the time of joining, to serve APEPDCL for a MINIMUM period of 5 Years after completion of Training-cum-Probation period (2 years).
Local Area/Nativity: Each District [(i.e. Srikakulam / Vizianagaram / Visakhapatnam / Rajamahendravaram (East Godavari) / Eluru (West Godavari)] will be regarded as Local area as defined in the Presidential order.
