Apparel Design/Textile Design Job in Thinketh Life Private Limited at Bangalore

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Following the entire product development process and making sure to complete the projects appropriately
2. Managing design process from conception to final specifications and styling
3. Conducting market research to identify trends, techniques and seeking design inspiration
4. Producing sketches, designs, and samples for presentation to stakeholders and making up sets of sample designs
5. Liaising with clients and technical, marketing and buying staff to plan and develop designs
6. Working independently if self-employed, or liaising closely with colleagues as part of a small team
7. Using specialist software and computer-aided design (CAD) programs to develop a range of designs
8. Experimenting with color, fabric, and texture and developing new design concepts whilst maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new design and production techniques and textile technology
9. Ensuring that projects are completed on time and visiting sites and other sources of ideas for designs
10. Sourcing fabrics and other materials at trade fairs, markets, and antique shops
