Job Description
Job Summary:
The Application Executive is a pivotal role within the technical and sales departments, responsible for understanding customer requirements, designing solutions that meet those needs, and ensuring the seamless integration and support of the delivered solutions. This individual serves as a key liaison between the client and internal teams, blending technical expertise with communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction, trust, and long-term engagement.
The ideal candidate will have a technical background and an interest in customer-facing roles, be detail-oriented, solution-driven, and possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills. This position plays a critical role in developing proposals, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring that client requirements are accurately understood and fulfilled.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Engagement and Needs Assessment

Meet with potential and existing clients to understand their technical needs, challenges, and objectives.

Conduct thorough needs assessments and site surveys where required to gather data for proposing suitable solutions.

Build rapport and trust with clients through effective communication, empathy, and technical knowledge.

Translate client needs into specific product or system requirements, acting as a bridge between the client and technical teams.
2. Solution Design and Customization

Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to develop tailored solutions that align with the client’s technical and business goals.

Customize existing systems or propose new configurations to fit unique requirements.

Ensure solutions are viable in terms of functionality, cost, and implementation timeline.

Maintain a detailed understanding of the company’s product portfolio, capabilities, and limitations.
3. Proposal Development and Presentation

Prepare comprehensive technical proposals and documentation in coordination with sales and engineering departments.

Assist the sales team with the preparation of RFPs (Requests for Proposals), RFQs (Requests for Quotations), and tenders.

Present technical solutions to clients through structured presentations, demos, and walkthroughs.

Ensure all documentation and presentations are clear, technically accurate, and aligned with the client’s expectations.
4. Post-Sales Support and Relationship Management

Provide post-sales technical support to clients, including troubleshooting, system updates, and training.

Act as the first point of contact for technical issues, escalating as necessary to appropriate support teams.

Conduct follow-up meetings and surveys to ensure customer satisfaction and gather feedback for future improvements.

Maintain long-term relationships with key clients, becoming a trusted advisor and support partner.
5. Internal Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing

Work closely with sales, marketing, engineering, and customer service teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Provide feedback from clients to product development teams for potential enhancements or innovations.

Contribute to internal knowledge bases and documentation to help improve team efficiency and customer experience.

Assist in training and mentoring new team members or sales staff on technical aspects of products and solutions.
6. Continuous Learning and Development

Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products.

Attend relevant training sessions, workshops, and industry events to enhance technical knowledge and soft skills.

Continuously update certifications, if applicable, in line with the products and technologies supported by the company.
